Quick Overview of Aragonite

What is Bronzite?

Bronzite Aura Stone Pair (Small)-145768

Bronzite is a form of the mineral Enstatite and belongs to the mineral group known as pyroxene, and so is a silicate compound of magnesium. It is an iron-bearing variety of enstatite, having a metallic luster when polished.

It is relatively unknown outside rock collecting circles but is easily cut and polished and makes quite attractive jewelry items. It is quite stunning, and most people, once exposed to it, find it warm, inviting, and rich.

It, however, is relatively soft with a Moh’s hardness of 5.5 -6. What is important to note from this is that the hardness of quartz is 7, and dust is quartz. So you will find that dust in the air over time will dull the surface of Bronzite. So rubbing it with a dusty cloth will cause more harm than good.

We recommend you wear Bronzite occasionally and put it in a closed drawer covered with a small cloth when not in use. But not to worry too much. Bronzite is very inexpensive and as such you can easily replace it should it dull with age, so enjoy it.

How is Bronzite formed?

Bronzite is an igneous rock formed when hot, molten rock containing magnesium, silicon, oxygen, and iron crystallizes and solidifies. The melt originates deep within the Earth near active plate boundaries or hot spots, then rises toward the surface.

What are Bronzite's Metaphysical Properties?

Bronzite is known as the Stone of Courtesy. Many sources report that energy it's has been found to be a calming, upright, friendly, outgoing, good-karma, almost balanced Yin/Yang conduit. We find it a friendly stone that radiates goodwill, charm, forgiveness, tolerance, and neighborliness. Handling a Bronzite makes one feel more akin to others and more tolerant.

Bronzite, dark brownish gold in color, is the natural birthstone color of those born in the magical month of midsummer (July 22 – August 21). Gold crystals bring you success, enthusiasm, happiness, and power. Golden Bronzite brings success, enthusiasm, happiness, and power. It is traditionally the color of kings, riches, and the sun. Gold touches a deep part of our minds, conjuring up images of mystical places and adventure.

Chakra Energy

Bronzite is used in healing efforts associated with imbalances in the energy associated with the Solar Plexus. The Solar Plexus is the energy distribution center, the first of the chakras of relationships. This chakra is located between the ribcage and the navel. It controls the immune system and digestive systems.

Crystal Pairings

Some sources recommend using Bronzite with high-frequency stones such as Phenakite, but we do not concur. The energies would fight. The energy of Bronzite is much more “in tune” with the calming and warming energy of Blue Lace Agate. A few tumbled blue lace agates, and a few tumbled Bronzite would make an elixir of friendliness and respect that would be quite effective.

Feng Shui

Bronzite brings Earth Energy to your spirit. Earth energy is a grounding, stable, realistic, and solid energy. Bronzite is a good choice for meditations where you must come down from high-energy activities and reconnect with the Earth and nature. Hold a few tumbled Bronzite in each hand while meditating, and you will feel the pull of the Earth on them, and you, in turn, reconnect you.

Bronzite Tumbled Stone Set (Extra Large)-0

Instructions:

First, place the candle on the place and lightly rub it with some Family Blessing Oil. Then sprinkle some cumin, some nutmeg, and some cinnamon on it. It does not need to be too much. As you do, ask the Universal Mind to bring the spice of family love to your ritual. With the candle prepared, next, set up your ritual.

In a quiet place, draw a circle on a large piece of paper or make a circle with your fingers on a table covered with a cloth that suits your family.

In the circle, place the candle in the middle. Put it on a fireproof plate so you don't damage the table or the tablecloth. While the candle is lit, do not leave it unattended.

Next, circle the candle with alternating bronzite and rose quartz stones arranged in a ring around the candle. As you create this circle, state your desire that the circle of life and love surround your family.

Then, move the dish of water in front of the candle and outside the circle of stones. Now move 6 of the bronzite to surround the water as you seek the blessings of the Universal Mind for the flow of love in your family.

Now, move the dish of the earth to the left of the candle outside the circle of stones. Move the other 6 bronzite to surround the bowl of earth. Ask the Universal Mind to secure your family's future from financial difficulties.

Next, move the plants to the right side of the candle and the circle of stones. As you place them, seek the Universal Mind's blessing for your family's good health and vitality.

Finally, light your candle… As you do, sit very still and quietly. In your mind’s eye, see your requests form into a ball of light that slowly merges into the candle flame and ascends in the smoke to the heavens above.

After a few minutes, you can extinguish the candle and put away your ritual.
