We use a simple Agate palm stone. You can use any crystal you wish, but we find that a dedicated smooth crystal works best.

Now Reiki Masters use special Reiki symbols to channel the energy, but you do not need to do that. Rather, you can use the Universal Life force symbol we use that will work just as well for you. It is the circle. The circle is a universal symbol with extensive meaning. It represents the notions of totality, wholeness, original perfection, the Self, the infinite, eternity, timelessness, all cyclic movement, and the flow of healing energy from the cosmos.

You will draw it three times. First, draw it in the air above whatever location of a person you wish to focus the healing energy on. This circle is drawn with one hand that has been anointed with three drops of the Reiki Gold Healing Oil on the back of that hand.

Next draw it over your head (like a halo) Do this with your other hand that has been anointed with three drops of the Reiki Gold Healing Oil.

Finally, you will walk in a circle around the person being treated, or if you self you will now completely around slowly. As you do you will hold each of your hands palm up near each other at waist height seeking the Chi flow to be focused on your hands.

Now you are ready. You will now practice simple Reiki healing. Hold both hands over the area to be treated a few inches above. As you do, visualize the golden flow of energy from your hands to the area. Hold the thought that you are the conduit of the healing life force. You will find that for most uses 3 or 4 minutes is about the right amount of time. (for a headache hold your hands near each ear)
