How to Program Your Labradorite for Protection
Labradorite is one of the most protective stones in the mineral kingdom. It can surround our aura with protective light and help to shield us from negativity, misfortune, and emotional drain. Labradorite tempers the negative side of our personality; the traits and actions that rob our energy and may produce depression or shame.

To program your Labradorite, follow these simple steps:
1. Once your Labradorite has arrived, you may wish to cleanse it before programming it. This can be done easily in a number of ways such as the smoke from sage, running water, or burying it in the ground. This is optional but recommended.

This could be just pressing the stone together with both of your hands in front of you horizontally. Others find the hands pressed in front vertically (like a prayer position) more comfortable.
5. Press your hands together and close your eyes as you take in a deep breath. Feel your lungs fill to max capacity as your chest expands completely. Focus on the feeling the Labradorite stirred in your earlier. Think about how it looks, everything you just studied, even as your eyes are closed.
6. You can speak this mantra aloud or to yourself. If you feel comfortable, you can also substitute this with your own mantra or spell.

please send it far away from me forevermore
I banish the negative energy and thoughts in my life
nor more will I suffer or anguish in strife

7. Once you are done, you can then open your eyes. Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale out through the mouth before revealing the crystal in your hand.

3. With the Labradorite in your hand (or one in each hand if you have two), it is time to sit comfortably and close your eyes. Close your hand over the stone and rest it on your knee as you breathe in deeply through your nose and exhale completely through your mouth.
4. With your eyes closed, visualize in your third eye the patterns and intricacies you studied earlier. Let yourself begin to roam through the colors; the streaks and glimmers of its magical birth from the Northern Lights.
5. Once you find yourself slowing down and settling, it is time to take a deep breath in and really take in the surroundings around you. The center of the stone is a magical and protective vessel for which you are now in.
6. Imagine yourself repeating these words and allowing them to vibrate off the walls of the crystal:
