How much do you know about Thulite?
A loving, passionate, and energetic crystal
Not a lot of people are familiar with Thulite. It’s a shame because not only is it a beautiful crystal but it is quite powerful as well. Thulite has a rich history as well. It was first discovered in Norway in 1820 and named after the ancient Greek area of Thule, which is believed to be current day Scandinavia. As such, it is also the Norwegian national stone.
Thulite is a pink variety of Zoisite, part of the Epidote mineral group. It can often be found mottled with White Calcite. When this happens, it is called Cinabite, which is White Calcite with inclusions of Thulite. You’ll find Thulite in colors ranging from a light pink to a rosy pink and even in a darker, reddish ruby color.
Healing Properties

This crystal is also known to connect with the Universal Life Force and both stimulate and regenerate the body. While it has some similar properties to Rose Quartz, being a deeply loving and compassionate stone, it has one major difference… energy! Both Thulite and Cinabrite are known as passionate and energetic stones. It can boost your energy, motivation, and direction, all in a gentle and loving manner.
Many crystal users have also called this crystal a stone of extroversion. That is because it can help you be more outgoing, make friends, and speaking to others. It helps you come across as more sincere, assists you in building rapport with others, and improves eloquence. It is said that entertainers, politicians, and those who interact and give speeches to the public can highly benefit from keeping Thulite with them.
