Quick Overview of Kundalini Citrine

What is Kundalini Citrine?

Kundalini Citrine is a natural smoky Citrine from the Republic of the Congo. It is also known as Lwena (Luena) Citrine because it is found near the town of Luena in Haut-Lomami in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Both individual crystals and cascading crystals clusters are common in this region. Individual specimens are often damaged in some way as the mining processes are primitive, and supply is irregular. The value of Kundalini in the marketplace is based on the specimen's size, color, and condition, with the condition being a significant element. Particular value is placed on specimens of main crystals in clusters with smaller crystals around the base. Some believe this formation brings much stronger Yin healing energy.

Natural Citrine does not hold or accumulate negative energy but rather transmutes, dissipates, and grounds it, making it extremely protective for the environment. It works out problems on both the physical and subtle levels, transforming negative thoughts and feelings into positive ones. It is one of only two crystals on Earth that never needs to be cleared or cleansed. The other is Kyanite.

Citrine is a transparent, yellow variety of Quartz, ranging in color from pale to golden yellow, honey, or almost brown, and may contain rainbow or sparkle inclusions. The name comes from the French word citron, meaning "lemon."

What are Kundalini Citrine's Metaphysical Properties?

In Hinduism, Kundalini is a form of divine feminine energy believed to be located at the base of the spine, believed to be a force associated with the divine feminine. Kundalini Citrine brings this powerful divine feminine energy to crystal healing regimes. Being natural citrine, Kundalini Citrine is a premier stone of manifestation, imagination, and personal will. Carrying the power of the sun, it is warm and comforting, energizing, and life-giving. It stimulates the chakras like the sunlight of spring, clearing the mind and stirring the soul to action.

Its frequency awakens creativity and imagination and sustains the process of transforming dreams and wishes into tangible forms. It's natural yellow energy encourages the fullness of life, fresh beginnings, and new pursuits.

The unique aspect of Kundalini Citrine is the balance of the powerful Yang energy of the natural citrine combined with a magical mixture of the Yin energy of the Kundalini energy it carries. This mixture creates a balancing, powerful healing crystal without peers.

The energy of this crystal is so strong that it should almost always be used as a base for crystal healing products rather than in direct applications except in the most serious healing sessions. Use it to create powerful elixirs, tinctures, healing powders, and salves. It is best used by women as while it has a strong Yang healing energy, the Yin energy of rising flowing soothing energy is much stronger and more responsive to feminine ministrations.
