Root Chakra Healing with Crystals

Root Chakra Symbol Chakra Balancing Crystals

The Root Chakra is the first chakra also sometimes known as the Base Chakra, the red chakra, or Muladhara. It is located at the base of the spine and controls the kinesthetic energy for feeling and movement. It is the foundation of physical energy and spiritual energy for the body. When it is blocked or out of balance Root Chakra healing may be in order. Using Root Chakra crystals is recommended to remove any blockages and return normal flow to the chakra.

When the Root Chakra is physically out of balance the symptoms will manifest themselves as lethargy, feeling down, low levels of activity, low enthusiasm, and a need for constant stimulation. You may experience lower back pain, suffer from leg pain, or have immune system issues.

When the spiritual energies of the Root Chakra are out of balance, you will feel flighty, disconnected from reality, and distant. You may begin to doubt your beliefs, stop being loyal to those around you, or find yourself deriving little joy from physical pleasures. You will also likely have a lack of motivation and drive.

Symptoms of Root Chakra Imbalances

If you're experiencing any of the symptoms below, it's likely you may have a blockage or imbalance in your Root Chakra. Often, imbalances can be linked together, so don't forget to check your other chakras.

How to Balance the Root Chakra

Red or scarlet crystals are best when looking to restore balance to the Root Chakra. The benefits of just a few minutes a day with one of these crystals resting between the legs for 5-10 minutes can be substantial. The benefits are enhanced when used during meditation. We also recommend activities that connect you with nature such as hiking, gardening, rock collecting, and physical outdoor games.
