Healing the Body

The Path of Physical Growth and Healing extends into the inner circle and to the Creator stone from the North. The journey is aided by the spirit keeper of the North, Kabibonokka, his animal totem, the White Buffalo, and by the spirit of the North Wind. The journey has three stones: the Cleansing Stone, the Renewal Stone, and the Purity Stone. Each of these stones will help you on your journey around the medicine wheel as you seek to develop a healthy physical life. The journey to heal the body begins at the North Wind stone, and continues here, beginning with the Cleansing Stone.

The stone is Sodalite and the Spirit Guide animal is the raccoon.

The Cleansing Stone is the place on the wheel you begin your physical healing journeys.

Begin your journey to good health here by detoxing your body.

Today’s world offers so many things that seem good, but are not healthy.

Start here with a good diet, cleanse yourself often – visit this stone on the wheel, and act in your body’s best interest by purging your internal self of poisons and toxins.

Sodalite

You can use this stone on emotional journeys also.

Use it to “detox” from harmful relationships. It can help you unblock your emotions and rid yourself of harmful ones.

Come to this stone, the Sodalite, when you are trying to begin a journey to heal your body.

Do you need to grow from an injury or illness? Do you need to grow your strength in someway? Use the Sodalite to begin the quest.

You can also use the animal totem for cleansing in physical, emotional, or spiritual ways. The raccoon is the animal that represents cleansing.

Native peoples see the raccoon as a bit of a trickster. If you are seeking to unmask your cravings, and do something about them, use the raccoon as your inspiration.

Also, carry your Sodalite with you. Sodalite is said to help cleanse away problems and ward off illness.

It is used in conjunction with cleansing ceremonies that include moon energy and water energy.

The second stone on the path of Physical Growth and Healing is the stone of Renewal. Physically, renewal is what will happen as you dedicate yourself to good physical health.

After you cleanse away toxins, begin to build and renew your body to its rightful condition of vibrant health.

This stone will aid your quest, giving you the daily strength to grow and renew.

Visit this stone often as you journey the wheel in your life. Renewal is a constant effort. We need a strong body if we are going to prosper in this life.

Too much depends on good health. The Stone of Renewal is the Peridot. Peridot is used in healing efforts associated with imbalances in the 4th Chakra, the Heart Chakra.

Renewal Stone Earthworm

Peridot is used particularly in efforts to re-balance your mind and body, thoughts and experiences, and dreams and reality. Its energy is powerful in healing physical effects of emotional distress.

The animal totem of Renewal is the Earthworm. The Earthworm has a great purpose – create and renew the very soil of Mother Earth.

What better totem for Renewal could be found!. The Earthworm will teach you to listen to constantly regenerate and renew the life you have around you.

The Purity Stone

The third stone on the Emotional path from the North is the stone of Purity. Purity is not a negative thing – but rather a freedom from contamination.

This is a stone of wholesomeness, freshness, and naturalness. Physically, you come to this stone when you are as one with the Earth and the natural world.

You come here to be human, and to be strong – you come here for the purity of body and spirit.

The Animal Totem is the Dolphin, an ancient sea mammal with the purity of a child.

Purity Stone Dolphin

Always playful, the dolphin brings a purity of spirit unmatched by any other creature.

There are frequent tales of Dolphins saving humans from drowning. Draw on the strength of the Dolphin as you swim the waters of your life – and bring the purity of their spirit to your life and health.

The crystal totem of the Stone of Purity is Herkimer Diamond. Herkimer Diamonds are the high energy seekers of the crystal world.

Unusually transparent with a brilliant sparkle, they manifest pure, solid Light and are powerful amplifiers of spiritual energy.

Sodalite

As perfect conduits of the universal Life Force, they are exceptional healing crystals, and are used in meditations, dream and vision work, and advanced spiritualization applications.

Herkimer Diamonds are the most powerful of all Quartz crystals. Being doubly terminated, they have the ability to not only transmit their own energies, but to receive spiritual energy and to amplify and focus it intently.

They are reported to be harder than all other Quartz, giving them the strength and durability to handle difficult challenges beyond the scope of other Quartz crystals. What they lack in physical size, they more than make up for in spirit energy.

The Spirit Path of the North, Healing the Body, is a part of the journey around the Medicine Wheel. It is an important part of anyone’s journey in this life. Come here often to renew your physical well being.
