Colombian Amber Stone Large

$12.95

Description: Colombian Amber.  Columbian Amber is also known as Copal, essentially young Amber. For resin to be classified as true Amber, it needs to undergo a fossilization process lasting 100,000 years or longer, typically from pine trees. Colombian Amber, however, is usually under 1,000 years old and has not completed the fossilization process. Despite not reaching Amber status yet, Copal shares a strikingly similar vibration and will eventually become Amber over time as it ages.

You will receive the typical item shown. Sold individually.

Please note that Amber is incredibly light and may feel similar to plastic. Amber is not a crystal but tree sap resin.

Size: Large, 3/4 –  1 1/2 inches in length. The approximate weight is 2 grams.

Primary Uses:  Colombian Amber is believed to encompass a range of metaphysical properties, including balancing energies, promoting healing and vitality, instilling emotional calmness, aiding in spiritual growth, offering protection and cleansing against negative energies, and enhancing mental clarity and focus. It’s also thought to align with the Solar Plexus Chakra, bolstering self-confidence, and assisting in manifestation and intention setting. Some practitioners believe it has the potential to connect with past lives and symbolize a strong link to nature through its ancient origins from tree resin.

Balance Talisman: On September 23rd, 2023, during the peak, our Crystal Masters will be attuning our Colombian Amber collection to the autumn equinox to capture the essence and energies of this celestial balance event within each unique Amber piece, creating Balance Talismans.

Quick Healing Overview: Amber heals and supports the emotional body by drawing off the negative energies that steal one’s optimism and drive for life and replacing them with an empowering frequency conducive to positive change. Bringing balance and stability to one’s life, Amber encourages patience and flexibility. Its warm, bright energy promotes cheerfulness and trust and strengthens the belief in oneself. Amber stimulates the intellect, improves short-term memory, and enhances the understanding of messages from one’s past to assist in decision-making and moving forward in life. It is a great tool for transmuting dreams into reality.

Birthstone & Zodiac Uses: Amber is not a traditional birthstone. It is the natural birthstone color of those born in the magical month of midsummer (July 22–August 21). Amber is one of the zodiac stones for those born in the heart of spring under the sign of Taurus, from April 20 – May 20. Taurus is depicted as a bull because of its characteristics of being strong but quiet and is ruled by the planet Venus which also rules Libra. Taureans are known for being “down to Earth,” the doers and the realists. They are affectionate, known for their tempers, and very stubborn.

For Chakra Balancing: Amber is associated with the Solar Plexus and Sacral Chakras. Blue Sumatra Amber is also associated with the Third Eye Chakra. The Solar Plexus chakra is the energy distribution center and the chakra of relationships. It is located between the ribcage and navel and controls the immune and digestive systems. When the Solar Plexus is out of balance, you will feel fearful of displeasing others or yourself. The Sacral Chakra is located below the navel and above the pubic bone at the front of the pelvis. It controls the flow of energy and is the center of gravity of the body. When it is out of balance the symptoms will manifest themselves as confusion, over-dependency on others, repression of feelings, inability to feel joy, fear of sensuality or sex, and frustration and bitterness. The Third Eye Chakra is located on the forehead, between the eyebrows. When the Third Eye Chakra is out of balance or blocked, nothing seems to make sense and you have a difficult time knowing what is important and what is not.

Crystal Color Energy: Amber is associated with the color energies of Gold. Gold color rays bring success, enthusiasm, happiness, and power. Gold touches a deep part of our minds, conjuring up images of mystical places and adventure. Light Gold crystals provide us with the simple pleasures of life – cheerfulness and contentment, while Dark Gold crystals have a deeper, more pronounced sense of devotion and commitment, providing us with a mature enthusiasm and ability to share a lifelong commitment of care and love.

Associated Goddesses: Amber is thought to be the tears of the Goddess Freya that fell into the sea. It is used to honor her. Additionally amber is used in devotions to Elektra, Greek Goddess of the Sea, Jurarte, the Lithuanian Goddess of the Sea, Nehalennia, the Gaulish Goddess of Sea Travelers, Oshun, the African Goddess of Love, Intimacy, Beauty, and Diplomacy, and Amberella, the Lithuanian Goddess of the Oceans.

Feng Shui Uses: Amber utilizes Water energy, the energy of stillness, quiet strength, and purification. Water energy is traditionally associated with the North area of a home or room. It is associated with the Career and Life Path area. Its flowing energy will ensure a balance of energy as your life unfolds and flows.

Uses in Divination: The Divinatory meaning of Amber: A chance for romance or unexpected admiration but think before giving up reliable love for a sudden flirtation or passion.

Talisman Energy: Amber is amorphous; it has no crystalline structure. It is organic, being the fossilized resin of ancient trees. As such its use as a talisman is not based on either its crystalline structure or its chemical composition. Instead, it is based on its gold color energy. Amber is a good-luck talisman, believed to be pieces of the Sun that fell off into the sea. It has long been used to bring luck to warriors, protect infants and children, increase radiance, and attract lasting love.
