A lot is new. First we have some great new Rose Quartz; we even have some very rare "hoppers" Check them out. Remember, Rose Quartz is primarily a crystal of love and devotion. It is used in honoring three Goddesses. All of them are Goddesses of Love. It is a natural birthstone of those born in Mid autumn. It is a stone to bring love, new romance, and new relationships into your life. It is a powerful Seeker crystal.

The Desert Roses from the Sahara are absolutely beautiful. I am very partial to these works of Nature's art. You will find that in the physical world, Desert Roses are excellent aids in protecting your loved ones, your possessions, and your physical security. They are very useful in protecting houses and homes, property, and valuables.

We have a few Amethyst Vugs from Uruguay. These are amazing deep amethyst color, attractive, and useful size. Amethyst is a wonderful talisman for use in the creative arts.  We have quite a few new items:

The Labradorite is inexpensive, but bright and very energic. Labradorite is known in modern usage as the "Stone of Magic" It can awaken your hidden power of divination, clairvoyance telepathy, and prophecy.

The Serandite is a new mineral here. Serandite promotes harmony, particularly in a family environment. Keep it in the main living area. Also keep a crystal near you at work. You will find you are more tolerant.

The Carnelian is a greart color. Carnelian brings us orange, the color of joy and friendship. Joy is a pure emotion, an elusive one, but a heartfelt one. The tumbled carnelians are only a few dollars a package.

The Calcite is also new. We found some amazing formations called rhombohedrons - strong powers of the number 6 here. These are Stones of Repose. They are balancing and meditation stones for recentering after excessive exposure to powerful Yang environments. If you need to restore yourself, meditation with calcite is highly recommended.   We have quite a few new items. Check out the new Kyanite Earrings. Very stylish, but only a few pair. Very inexpensive, but well made. The new red fire quartz is quite stunning. We were fortunate to get such excellent specimens. They don't last long, so make sure you get a good one. Red fire is also known as Lepidocrocite Quartz, which, when it possesses the scarlet ray of influence as this one, is a crystal of physical energy, vitality, and protection. It is a healing crystal of the base chakra, and a powerful fire element used in the south area of a home. It is also a crystal of considerable power to facilitate deep understanding between lovers.

We have also added some marra mimba tiger eye, but only a couple, along with a few small azurite/malachite thumbnails which make excellent shamanic stones. Enjoy!

Finally there are some great new double terminated citrine polished crystals from Madagascar. Double Terminated Crystals are meditation crystals, divination crystals, and personal talismans. New, and very unusual Red Quartz from China now in stock. Check out these crystals. Most red quartz is colored by Hematite. These are not. This Red Quartz is Quartz with Sphalerite Inclusions. It seems to be much more rare.

For example, we now have Epidote If you have never worked with Epidote before you are in for a very pleasant surprise. Epidote is a Guardian Unifier Crystal. In the physical world it is an excellent aids in protecting your loved ones, your possessions, and your physical security. It is very useful in protecting houses and homes, property, and valuables. If you have prized possessions you want to guard and protect, use a Guardian crystal. Epidote is also useful for travelers and adventures to take with them on their travels as insurance against harm. Also we have posted a number of beautiful Striped Flint. If you haven't seen these, take a look.

Striped Flint was used in Europe and Asia in prehistoric times to make to make weapons, primarily axes that were used both in battle and in ceremonies. These axes were quite valuable, and it is believed that the ancient warriors slept with them nearby. Perhaps because of this, striped flint has been used for millennia for protection during sleep. It seems to be used in the same way as purple Fluorite was used in China - to protect the sleeper from evil spirits and the nightmares they cause.

Striped Flint is one of the two powerful talismans used for those seeking a peaceful sleep devoid of nightmares. It should be kept by the bed at night. We have finally been able to get some more Dream Makers. Dream Makers protect your mind during sleep. They ward off negative energy that can cause nightmares and bad dreams. They form a sort of spiritual cocoon in which your mind is free to grow, explore, dream, and expand without being disturbed. Do you want peaceful, relaxing, invigorating sleep? Use a Dream Maker. Dream Makers are Chinese, Violet Fluorite crystals from the Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan Prov, China. I learned about these from my father. Here is the story. My father was once approached by a young woman at a mineral show in San Francisco. She wanted a "dream maker." She was reluctant to ask most of the people there, since they were mineral dealers, and she didn't know which mineral crystal was the Dream Maker. My father must have looked understanding, for she told him her story. She had started suffering from nightmares as a teenager. Confiding in her friend, she was taken to her friend's uncle, an elderly Chinese healer. He listened to her problem, looked quite a long time into her eyes, then disappeared for a few minutes.

He returned with a small white box which, when opened revealed a small mound of what seemed to be purple boxes all lumped together. He told her it was a Dream Maker from China. She was to keep it beside her bed, gaze upon it just before closing her eyes, and she would be free of nightmares.

She did so for many years, but recently had taken the treasure on a business trip to a distant city and left it by the bed. Efforts to retrieve it had been unsuccessful, and she was very worried. Well, my father knew what the crystals were, and showed her several violet Fluorites. She picked one that "was just the one" and left very happy.

At the side of the booth a very elderly Chinese gentleman had a small case of these large polished double cabochons. I asked him what they were. He pantomimed sleeping. He spoke no English. I asked him to write what they were. He wrote Xhau Xin and again pantomimed sleeping.

We now have Tibetan Cleansing Crystals!!

The earth energy is strong in certain crystals. Tibetan Cleansing Crystals seem to have the special power of absorbing negative energy from other crystals.

These clear quartz crystals grow in the highest place on earth, and seem to be a bridge from Earth energy to Air energy allowing them to be particularly suited to cleansing other crystals. Here is how to use them:

.Place several Tibetan Cleansing crystals in a shallow bowl and cover them with pure water. Place a clean natural cloth over them and place the crystal to be cleansed on the cloth. (OK, in the photo I removed the cloth so you could see better.)

Leave for 24 hours, turning occasionally. Remove the cleansed crystal and discard the water away from your living area, as it will contain negative energy.

We have continued to add new products. Several new necklaces and pendants from Shamana are posted. There will be more over the next few days. We have also updated a few nice pieces of Amber, some crystals, and some in necklaces and pendants. The real "what's new" is Tropical Storm Fay. We are in Ormond Beach Florida and it has been WET and WINDY. However, we do have new weekly specials - great necklaces of beautiful and powerful Herkimer Diamonds. The Goddess Crystal section has been enhanced significantly. We have worked to bring more of them to you. Our section, Crystals of the Goddesses seeks to provide understanding of the Divine Feminine, a presentation of the Goddesses, and an explanation of the crystals that can be used to honor each one. We have added articles and drawings of Aditi, the Hindu Mother Goddess, Aurora, the Roman Goddess of the Dawn, Demeter, the Greek Goddess of the Harvest, Hathor, Egyptian Goddess of Fertility and Joy, Isis, the Egyptian Goddess of Life, Kuan Yin, the Chinese Goddess of Mercy, Lakshmi, the Hindu Goddess of Abundance, Pele, Hawaiian Goddess of Fire, Persephone, Greek Goddess of Spring, (and Queen of the Underworld), and Sophia, Goddess of Wisdom. Each has a story, each can be honored with the appropriate crystals from Mother Earth.

Quartz power crystals are featured this week. There are several new types posted with extensive explanations. First there is another Atlantian Record Keeper. It is our last one until a new shipment arrives. (Note: update 1 Aug: sold out)You can read more about Atlantian Record Keepers here.

Secondly we have added two new Elestial quartz crystals. The Elestial listing and photo in the Quartz Crystal Explained section for Elestials is also now complete. If you are seeking a powerful Yin crystal of feminine power, you might want to look at these.

Finally, we have added a Time Line to the Future crystal. We have more of these coming soon also. You can read about the properties of Time Line to the Future crystals here.

We have received a new shipment of Shamana Sacred Jewelry which we will be photographing and posting soon. Watch for it. Shamana is a nationally known craftswoman who makes beautiful and powerful jewelry in her sacred place in New Mexico. Thanks!
